Birol Altınay is a key figure guiding the strategic vision of BozAltınay with his deep technical expertise in the construction sector, extensive experience across public and private sectors, and active involvement in civil society. Born in Istanbul in 1966, Altınay graduated from TED Ankara College in 1984 and earned his degree in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU) in 1989.

He began his career in the public sector as an engineer working on highway and motorway construction projects. Since 1998, through his own company, he has successfully managed numerous contracting projects across both the public and private sectors. From 2009 to 2022, he held senior executive positions at some of Turkey’s leading construction firms, where he led large-scale projects and stood out for his solution-oriented management approach during times of crisis.

Since 2022, Altınay has been working independently, channeling his expertise into more visionary and flexible projects. With a disciplined, analytical, and sustainability-focused approach, he contributes strategic direction to BozAltınay.

Altınay places great importance on civil society involvement and has served on the Executive, Audit, and Administrative Boards of both the TED Ankara College Alumni Association and the Turkish Education Association.

A strong advocate of the family tradition of education and ethical values, Altınay serves as an inspiring role model for younger generations. He is married with twin children and speaks English fluently.
